I have more to say but this review would be too long. We did not observe this type of behavior with any other individuals who were not a minority. To top it off every time we walked to our room there was a security booth next to the elevator and security kept hassling my husband and making grunting sounds and scratching their throats loudly and asking to see his room key every time we walked to our room as if to say we do not belong there. We ended up canceling our order and walked out. Then made us wait 20 minutes before she took our order. Ate at baha Miguel's and the waitress rolled her eyes at us and made an ugly face like she did not want to help us. When she did help us she was very condescending when she spoke to me and my husband. As soon as we get to the front desk to check in, the clerk made us wait so she may help a caucasian couple behind us. I was so excited to get a 1 bedroom as this would be a different experience. We stayed in a one bedroom suite at this hotel Thanksgiving weekend. Poor security, shady characters walking about property. Free self parking.Ĭons: Discriminatory,Judgemental service and front desk staff. Pros: In house amenities like a bowling alley, movie theater and numerous restaurants. First I would like to say this is an honest non bias review of th Southpoint hotel.
