Our shows were general admission seating, so we lined up about an hour before the doors even opened to try and get front row. Doors for the concert opened about an hour before show time. The concerts we attended were in the Bingo room.
I thought there was a decent choice of slot machines and there is some gaming tables. We signed up for our players card, and got promotional money for a new sign up. Yes, it is a smaller casino, but it wasn't dirty, wasn't overly smokey (a lot of smoke can make me sick and I was fine) and the staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. What I read about wasn't at all what I encountered. Based on the reviews, I was nervous about the experience we would be having. I read many of the reviews of the Ho-Chunk Casino prior to attending a concert there.
